I am a yogini who loves fashion, great food, and chocolate. I consider myself lucky to have married a real-life prince charming and for having two beautiful daughters who keep me on my toes. Yoga came to me as a life-changing journey. Being a military wife, I found myself disoriented as to what my purpose in this life was; having to move all the time, all the lonely days, and making friends just in time to say goodbye. I started seeking anything that would give me a sense of being grounded.
Yoga did that for me. It profoundly transformed my life physically and emotionally. The practice allowed me to learn about patience, finding joy in the present moment, and compassion.
My personal practice varies day by day, but I always gift my body with whatever it is calling for. I let all the sensations around me take the wheel. Sometimes it’s the weather, a song on the radio or the emotions stirring inside of me. I discover something new about myself within every practice.
As a teacher, I am inspired to teach creative and thoughtful sequences that enable students to strengthen their body and mind. My main focus is to assist my students with bridging the gap between their yoga practice and their daily lives. I am constantly amazed at how different every yogi is. I encourage all of my students to nourish their passions and individuality by assisting them in their personal journey in the practice.
